Hammer mill introduction


This kind of hammer mill is a kind of hammer crusher machine, it is made up of motor, base frame, rotor, hammers and sieve. The structure is very simple but is it have very powerful functions, it is the most popular hammer mill/ crusher machine. Raw material feeding into the machine from feeding chute, then material directly go to the crushing room. Powered by motor, the rotor is running with a speed of 2980rpm, during the rotor running, the hammers on the rotor is also running with a very high speed, the hammers will bite the material and make the size smaller and smaller, until the size is smaller than the hols on sieve, the final product will made and discharge from the hammer mill. Usually together with the hammer mill equip with blower, cyclone, airlock and dust collector to control the dust, because if crushing dry raw material there will be a lot of dust, so the cyclone, airlock and dust collector is needed.

This machine also can change the electric motor into a diesel engine.

This hammer mill is designed to process many different kind of raw material, such as: small tree branches, wood residues, log barks, small wood blocks, rice straw, corn, wheat straw, bagasse, rice husk, corn stalk, cotton stalk, wood chips, beans straw, peanut shell, sweet potato straw, and other forage grass. It is widely used in pellet making industry, feed making industry, agriculture and farming. That’s why is it called multi functional hammer mill.
